MELBOURNE, November 19, 2019 – Today, Billi announced its involvement in the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) membership program as a Cornerstone member. Billi joins like-minded companies from across the globe that are committed to enhancing buildings and communities to help people thrive.
The membership program at IWBI convenes, celebrates and fosters collaboration with companies and organizations who are leading the movement to advance human health in buildings and communities around the world. This dynamic framework allows Billi to tap into IWBI’s expansive resources and knowledge and demonstrates Billi’s alignment with IWBI’s mission.
“Since the first WELL projects, we have continued to build the momentum towards a global transformation that puts people at the focus of a healthier future,” said IWBI Chairman and CEO Rick Fedrizzi. “The IWBI membership community is passionate and united around their efforts to elevate wellness in their everyday work, and we are excited to have each of them on this journey.”
Daniel Walker, National Sector Manager – Specification explains, “the IWBI and it’s WELL projects are an integral to the future of Billi globally. We are extremely excited to be involved with the IWBI and look forward to working alongside other WELL-focused Organisations, particularly in Australia and the UK where our teams are working concurrently to share the message.”
About IWBI
The International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) is leading the global movement to transform our buildings and communities in ways that help people thrive. The WELL v2 pilot is the recently launched version of its popular WELL Building Standard, which will continue to be offered to the market, along with the WELL Community Standard pilot, a district scale rating system that sets a new global benchmark for healthy communities. WELL is focused exclusively on the ways that buildings and communities, and everything in them, can improve our comfort, drive better choices, and generally enhance, not compromise, our health and wellness. IWBI convenes and mobilizes the wellness community through management of the WELL AP credential, the pursuit of applicable research, the development of educational resources, and advocacy for policies that promote health and wellness everywhere. 1 in 9 people worldwide don’t have access to a clean water source close to home. But as we all know, water is essential for life and good health. That’s why we are challenging ourselves this March to make water our only beverage. We’ll be improving our health, while raising money to help more people enjoy the benefits of clean water.
WaterAid will reach everyone, everywhere with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene within a generation. This vision inspires us, and we hope it inspires you too.
Please donate to our fundraising page to contribute to WaterAid’s amazing work. For just $70, WaterAid could provide clean water to a child, while $350 could help provide clean water to a family.

This is a result of the online audiences of Architecture & Design and Indesign voting for their favourite brands in the architecture, building, construction and design industries. There were over 6000 survey participants who voted for their top ten brands.
As Architecture and Design explain “Trusted Brands is an industry benchmarking tool for assisting Australian businesses and individuals in making more informed purchasing decisions. In a commercial context, Trust is a particularly powerful influence and decision-making enabler. Since its establishment in 2012, the Trusted Brands survey has asked industry professionals to nominate their pick of the best brands within the Architecture and Design space. In doing, it provides the foremost national showcase of the most reliable and trusted suppliers within the Australian commercial market.”
